Account packs and seats
Raising your account ceiling or your headcount without changing plan — and the asymmetry that catches people out: adding is instant, removing waits for the end of the period.
Workspace settings → Subscription. Neither add-on has a card of its own: each one sits inline, under the usage meter it raises — packs under Accounts, seats under Employees. Both are billed on the plan's invoice, on the plan's interval.
The two add-ons
| Account packs | Employee seats | |
|---|---|---|
| Each one adds | 5 accounts | 1 team member |
| Available on | Plus and Pro | Pro |
| Maximum | 50 packs | 100 seats |
An account pack raises how many Vinted accounts the workspace may connect. A seat lets one more person work in it.
Neither is offered on a gifted or partner-key plan: there is no Stripe subscription behind one, so there is nothing to add a line to. The capacity is whatever the grant says.
What your ceiling becomes
| Base accounts | With 50 packs | |
|---|---|---|
| Plus | 10 | up to 260 |
| Pro | 50 | up to 300 |
If you need past that, talk to us rather than clicking fifty times — that ceiling exists to catch a script or a typo, not to stop a real business.
Adding
The row under the meter reads Need more accounts? (or seats), with the unit price beside it, and the button says Add a pack the first time and Manage packs afterwards. Then a quantity stepper, and before you confirm:
- the unit price, per pack or seat, per month or per year;
- Charge today (prorated) — the exact amount for the remainder of your current period;
- Unlocks {n} extra accounts — what the capacity becomes;
- a total in the form {total} accounts ({base} included + {extra} extra).
It takes effect immediately once paid. The button names what it will do: Add 3 packs, not Confirm.
Removing
This is the asymmetry to remember.
A reduction is scheduled for the end of your current billing period, and there is no refund. You keep the capacity you paid for until that date, then it drops. The dialog says so before you confirm, with the date, and the button reads Remove 2 packs.
A banner then shows Reduction to {n} packs scheduled for {date}, with Cancel next to it. Cancelling restores the original quantity and nothing is charged.
You also cannot reduce below what you are using: You have {n} active accounts. Remove some before reducing further. Free the capacity first, then reduce.
A downgrade takes your add-ons with it
If you schedule a plan downgrade to a plan that does not sell an add-on you hold, that add-on is cancelled at the same moment:
You'll lose your addons. Downgrading to {plan} will cancel your {n} packs at the end of the current period — capacity drops accordingly.
Two consequences worth knowing:
- You can still buy more of that add-on for the rest of the current period, and there is no refund for them at the downgrade. The add-on dialog says exactly that when you open it.
- To keep the add-on, cancel the scheduled plan change first. Cancelling the add-on's own scheduled removal will not do it — the plan change is what is removing it, and the error says so.
Over capacity
If you end up above your paid capacity — a downgrade landed, packs expired, a seat lapsed — the affected accounts and members are suspended, not deleted. A red banner counts them: {n} resources are over your plan's capacity.
Resolve now opens a dialog listing exactly what is over: accounts with their creation dates, members with the date they were suspended, a search box, and Select all / Clear. You pick which to permanently release — the button counts them, Release {n} items — or you close it and upgrade to keep everything.
Release the ones you meant to release. Suspended is a holding state, not a decision — nothing is lost while you think about it, and nothing works either. Leaving it unresolved means a member who cannot get in and accounts that cannot buy.
Seats and members
Buying a seat does not invite anyone; it makes an invitation possible. The Members section shows {used} / {total} seats used, and the invite button refuses when there is no free seat.
Removing a member frees their seat immediately — the seat stays on your bill until you also reduce the seat count, and reducing it is scheduled like any other reduction.
See Members and roles.
Restarting a paused subscription
Add-ons are billed on the same invoice as the plan, so the amount charged when you restart is higher than the plan price alone — and Kops cannot compute the exact figure in advance. The restart dialog says so and shows the plan part as a from amount, labelled Charged today (from), with Your seats and account packs are billed on the same invoice, so the total will be higher than the plan price shown.
That is deliberate honesty rather than a gap: quoting a precise total would mean asking Stripe for every add-on's price on every read of the page.
